René asked me to join in on a project of ‘de Bende’ to design the main stage at Solar Festival. The little story I made of the Pantless Knight was the base for the design. I focused on the concept, and drew the first sketches, others made a technical translation for the framework of the actual stage. In the end a group of about 20 people have been building on the spot and used their own creativity to fill in the concept. In the end this is really a project about collaboration, creativity, exploration and lots of fun!
