In July 2013 we organized ‘Lemke’s Wijsje’, a little event which shows you surprising places and acts. The ‘Wijsjes’ is a concept with the idea that it takes place on another location every time. It’s connected to another person every time, who shows his or her neighborhood through this event. It shows you places you would usually never visit and on each location there is a different act. I had been to some Wijsjes before and totally loved the surprising element, so I figured ‘to do my own’.  All people gather at one point, and groups of about 20 to 30 people follow a guide along all the spots. On every spot there was an act during 15 minutes. At the end everyone comes back at the starting point where there is a party.

I organized it together with René, who became my love afterwards :). René works for Stichting Treehouse, with which they organize a lot of great initiatives, events, workshops, initiatives and collectives. It is their concept and right now there have been over 20 Wijsjes already!
