Bagalona

In 2005-2006 I lived in Barcelona for a year. When I arrived everything was new to me, but when I left after one year all these places had become completely normal. Almost unnoticeable. When I left I wanted to capture these places as I would leave them empty again. I photographed my red bag in these places, which I carried everywhere for the whole year. It made it very surreal.

In this period I was only taking analog pictures. This series was photographed on color slide film and cross-processed.
